Good intentions, flawed execution

The passionate staff turned our stay into a homely experience, especially enjoying a fantastic traditional Irish breakfast and a cozy atmosphere, complemented by captivating views of the gardens outside.

Some rooms lacked en-suite bathrooms, unexpected. The seating area felt somewhat cramped for larger families, leaving little room to gather comfortably.

Lovely and spotless hotel, the staff is exceptionally nice and very helpful. It features newly decorated rooms with bathroom, nice views plus a very comfortable bed.

The pancake platter was a meal fit for kings-fluffy stacks drizzled with local honey and fresh berries. The place was cozy, and the beautiful garden provided a perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventuring. Plus, the personalized breakfast options were great, we were fueled for exploring the sights.

Cheeky twist, while every room claims ensuite, my King Room had a large private bathroom just across the hall.

The staff is incredibly nice as well as hotel's host. The room is spotless and luxurious and essentials you need, including a dining area, a sitting area, and an iron and ironing board, is right there. The bathroom is clean. The location of the venue is stunning, short walk to Galway Bay and restaurants and off the beaten path overlooking the river. Again, the hotel is located not too far from Merlin Woods Park. The property suited our needs, we would like to come again.

We have booked queen room with a private bathroom and lovely views plus a very comfortable bed for 2 nights. This location was lovely and absolutely perfect, short walk to the river as well as pubs, restaurants and a delicious Italian restaurant

Yo, the breakfast was unreal! I loved picking fresh options the night before, and the view while chowing down was killer. The garden outside? Perfect for chillin' after a busy day. Plus, the hosts were super friendly and gave some awesome tips on local spots. Can't wait to come back!

I was shocked by the lack of privacy, having to traverse a public corridor to my bathroom. I wouldve expected a welcome gift or maybe an upgrade for the inconvenience. Derek's attitude showed he was far too busy to actually care about anyone who wasn't a frequent guest. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

Amazing breakfast with huge portions. Free parking was a plus, but the spa lounge was closed.

A cozy spot with stunning views of the beach and comfortable rooms. Derek's warm hospitality made our stay enjoyable, and the breakfast was not only generous but also delicious. The location provides a serene escape from the city, although it is a short drive away from Galway's attractions.

Just an optimal selection for a holiday in Galway with great value. The room had a lovely private bathroom that was clean and convenient. If you plan to arrive late, make sure to clarify your check-in details ahead of time.

Immaculate accommodation located in a charming building by the bay, boasting beautiful gardens and amazing ocean vistas from the terrace overlooking the garden, offering a satisfying breakfast spread.

The room was incredibly clean, had a beautiful view of the mountains, a modern bathroom setup, and convenient amenities like coffee/tea-making facilities, multi-channel TV.

The breakfasts here are fantastic, with delicious coffee.
